Section 57 Copyright Act

Section 57 Copyright Act 2022 is about Misrepresentation. It is under Part VII (Provisions Relating to Online Content) of the Act.

A person who knowingly misrepresents under this section, that —
(a) material or activity is infringing, or

(b) material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, is liable in damages for injuries suffered by the person as a result of the service provider relying on such misrepresentation.
